Henley Bridge

Built in 1786, this iconic bridge is over 200 years old. The toll for using the bridge was abolished in 1873 and it's still free to use today. It has five archways and so very neatly it's the 5 of diamonds.

If you mention Henley Bridge to any local, conversation will lead onto the campaign running to add lights to it. Most folk seem for the idea but just so long as it doesn't damage the stonework.

It is grade I listed and so seems fitting that local company ManningUK Insurance Brokers sponsor it as this amazing architecture needs looking after.

It's actually the second bridge built. Evidence of the original archways can be seen in the Angel On The Bridge's cellar) and have been dated to 1170.
