The Regatta Headquarters sits directly opposite the Angel On The Bridge pub as you look from the Angel's terrace over the river. Whilst it's a relatively modern building compared to others in Henley, it was granted grade II listed building status back in 2018 because of its architectural and historic interest.
The late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip officially opened the riverbank residence in 1986. It used to be home to the Carpenter's Arms pub but it was demolished due to constant flooding, a hazard of being next to the river.
It's well worth a visit to find out more about Henley's rich rowing history and there's also a shop stocked with plenty of high quality souvenirs, including these fine playing cards too.
