Kenton Theatre

Dating back to 1805, the Kenton is the fourth oldest working theatre in the UK. It’s a registered charity and named after Robert Kenton who left the plot of land it now resides on to the Town Council.

With a capacity of just 240, this Grade II listed building has a wide and varied programme including comedy, music, drama and talks. Be sure to visit the Old Bell round the corner on Bell Street for a cocktail before your visit (four of spades in the pack).
